Using an account at www.photobucket.com is gonna be your best bet, I'm thinking. That might be easiest. It should give step-by-step instructions for uploading your pics.

Once you've uploaded them somewhere, you can right-click them, click Properties, highlight the URL (http://...etc.), right-click and Copy. You can then use the 'Insert Image' function on this board, or in email programs. When you're asked for the URL of the image, you right-click and Paste.

That probably makes no sense at all to you, but write it down and all will become clear eventually.

Alternatively, get someone else to do it for you, lol.

If you want to just copy the photos on the CD to your hard drive then I suggest:

Step 1. Double-clicking on the My Computer icon on your desktop.

Step 2. Once you get inside the My Computer folder you will see your Drive letters. Right click over the Drive letter for your CD-Rom and and then left click on Explore.

Step 3. After the window is opened hit <CTRL>+<A> (this does a Select All), and then all pics will be highlighted.

Step 4. After pics are highlighted, Right click again over the highlighted pics and then left click on Copy.

Step 5. Browse to a folder you want to put the pics and then Right Click inside that folder then left click on Paste.

If these steps are a little too confusing I'm sorry. I do tech support for a living and I try to give as much baby steps as possible.

If you still have trouble doing that then you can always give me a call here at work - reply back to this and I'll PM you my work #.

Kira, you still using the internet cafe? If so, don't copy them to the hard drive.

If you can put your cd in the computer at the cafe, you can upload the pics at www.photobucket.com

If you don't have access to the cd drive (I think some of the cafes just have the monitor, keyboard and mouse accessible) you're gonna be stuck, until you find somewhere to stick the cd in.
